Why illustration to communicate science?
The language of science is communicated primarily with words. I strongly believe that when this language is translated into images the potential for communication becomes nearly universal. New discoveries and understandings of the natural world happen almost daily. I believe that those discoveries should be available to everyone. Through scientific communication, particularly as a science illustrator I aim to do that.
